Time: Opens 7:00 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. presentation . Cost: FREE. Location: First Congregational Church of Oakland, 2501 Harrison St. (at 27th St.) Oakland, CA 94612. For information contact HAI Starlight Event Line (510) 380-6153. Introductory Presentations are an opportunity for you to get a sense of what our workshops are all about. The events format will include an informal talk by a HAI presenter, followed by questions and answers and the chance to participate in several loving and safe exercises. Introductory Presentations are open to the general public.
Introductory Events
Would you like a direct experience of what our weekend workshops are like? These events are free. In an evening or an afternoon, you will get a feeling for HAI's workshops by participating in a series of fun and meaningful exercises.
Couples Workshops
These weekend workshops give couples the tools and experience of how to keep their love fresh and strong. Couples experience greatly improved communication, new intimacy, and more appreciation for each other than they may have ever felt before.
Singles Events
Singles events traditionally give single people a chance to meet other singles in their area. But HAI's Singles Events also focus on how to receive and give what you want in relationships. Experience the honesty, depth, fun and respect you desire in just a few hours!

For 40 years the Human Awareness Institute (HAI) has welcomed couples, singles and non-traditional forms of relationships, without regard to sexual choices or preferences. Meet our diverse staff of Workshop Facilitators.
West Coast weekend workshops are held at the Harbin Hot Springs resort in Northern California. Harbin is conveniently located near wine country and the San Francisco bay area. Other workshop sites are: Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Midwest US & Canada, East Coast US.
